Associate Professor in Physico-Chemistry , in the speciality of Applied Photochemistry. He has been involved in applied fluorescence spectroscopy and material sciences research applied in environment, water resources and energy for 16 years. Dr. Adamou has initiated several research projects which got national, regional and international financial supports. He has supervised several Master thesis in Chemistry, environment sciences, Climate change and energy. Currently, four (4) PhD students are under his supervision. During the last five years, he has concentrated his efforts on surface water and groundwater pollution and remediation, local materials valorization, climate change and and renewable energy.
